Stellamar Company Update 2016

It’s been a big year for Stellamar. We are evolving and expanding both from an internal perspective and an operating function.

With such growth comes great thought for how our company operates internally, and how we are perceived externally by both clients and candidates. Therefore, we have re-established our mission statement and put in place some guiding principles. We believe these represent the way we work with our partners and how our staff approach their daily work.

Our mission is;

Our guiding principles celebrate that we;

While recruitment remains the core of the business, Stellamar provides bespoke HR solutions to represent the lifecycle of employment and staffing – born from our guiding principles of providing the right staff for the right position rather than merely filling vacancies. This function means that Stellamar can assist companies with crucial HR solutions to reduce staff turnover rates.

What began as a specialist energy and maritime recruitment agency has seen demand grow the company’s offering into recruiting for other industries and sectors with dedicated teams continuing the renowned recruitment services which Stellamar are known for.

Built Environment

Stellamar now recruits into the built environment industry. We work with some of the biggest names in the industry to provide planning, design and construction staff.

We have a sales recruitment team – providing candidates from telemarketers to head of growth in the sales industry. Our consultants work within an established network of talent to ensure that we access the right people for the right role.


Recruiting for the IT industry, Stellamar consultants are working with a variety of high profile clients across many industries. As IT gains a stronger influence, more functions and IT job roles become a necessity to business and our consultants are at the forefront of finding new opportunities and talent.


HR recruitment was a natural step given the depth of HR knowledge within the company. Our consultants have an exceptionally high understanding of the role specifications, qualifications and an extensive network to work within.

The decision to branch out came from our dedicated work in the Maritime industry and applying the same method of experienced and specialist recruitment practices through our excellent recruiters.

Furthermore, internal growth has continued following our move to the new Stellamar HQ. We now occupy over 1400 sqft in comparison to 680 sqft. The Queen Mary II welcome us on our first day in the new office, seemingly docked right outside the window.
